Oblong (21 x 19 cm.). Some of the gilt is gone from lettering on the backstrip which is also a little faded at both ends. A few light marks on front and back cover. No jacket. INSCRIBED in black ink on front free endpaper by Frank ("To Ray of New Haven 1997 Nov 18. This is the PRESENT .. gone Robert Frank"). Classic photographic work. Six page Introduction by Jack Kerouac.
