Numerous illustrations throughout including several color coat-of-arms plates. Articles include: Douglas C McMurtrie writes on the beginnings of printing in the District of Columbia; Ezra L'Hommedieu friend of George Washington; Buildings of Old Baltimore; Palatine Germans in Pennsylvania. Over 100 pages of this issue are taken up with the genealogy of the McKallor (MacKellar) family with several color coat-of-arms illustrations (Ayres, Raymond, Seymour, Mervin, Ely, Van Ness, Van Schaick, Van Groesbeck, Velius, Mather).
