Hard cover published by Bobbs-Merrill in 1947. No dust jacket. Spine is darkened some, with some scuffing and staining. Edges of covers are faded some, with some stains, and have some wear. Corners of covers and ends of spine have some wear. Top edge of pages are gilt-covered. Inside front cover has a bookstore sticker at bottom. Front endpaper has the name of a previous owner and date written in middle and some writing in pencil in upper corner. Book is in good condition. 720 pages, 3.1 lb.; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; 720 pages; Signed by Author .
