Blue cloth, lightly mottled, with silver gilt lettering on the spine. Square and firmly bound, former owner's name on the half-title page, clean otherwise. The continuation of Wright's autobiography that begun with Black Boy, here discussing Wright's time in Chicago and his involvement with the Communist Party.
