Tan cloth, titles stamped in black on the cover and spine, dark green rules on the spine, head edge dyed green: edges very lightly soiled, leaves and boards crisp and bright. In the two color illustrated dust jacket, price $3.00 intact on the front flap: Slightly chipped with short closed tears,rear flap upper corner clipped. "An essay on biology in 365 parts" from the great naturalist and poet, with signs of the zodiac ink drawings Lynd Ward. The dust jacket is a fine example of art-deco style. Dust jacket preserved in a removable, clear archival sleeve.
