London: Griffith, Farran & Company, 1886. Pictorial Boards. Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Bennett, Harriet M.. Size 9¼" x 7¼", 64 pages. Not dated, c.1886 from inscription on a different copy. Cream boards with titles and illustration of little children looking at a cuckoo clock on the front cover and a vignette of a little girl lying in a field of wild flowers on the back cover. Condition good, corners edges and spine edges rubbed, covers a little grubby, internally a few loose leaves, few light spots to first and last few leaves, a few grubby marks in margins, child's name in red pen on page 31, still quite clean and bright, complete. Rhymes and lullabies for little children, for each time of the day, with wonderful colour and sepia illustrations by Harriet M. Bennett. Lithographed and printed by Ernest Nister of Nuremberg.
