Vol.One: f/piece+xiii+311; major flaw is rough excision of front endpapers before half-title, otherwise internally clean, tight and unmarked though faint edge tanning throughout, bound in black cloth with gilt lettering and Durer's monogram centre front; unclipped jacket has fairly faint surface dust marks, spine tanned and numerous edge chips, nicks and tears (now internally close) including spine ends; Vol. Two: xxxvi (illustrations list)+214 (Handlist and indices)+unpaginated illustrations block of 325 ills. mostly several per page; internally clean, tight and unmarked with only faint edge tanning, binding as vVol.One; unclipped jacket as Volume One but creasing to lower front. The 1st edition of this acclaimed work was 1943. 23 cm x 30 cm. Total weight is 3.7 kg so allow for £10 Parcelforce postage in UK and overseas postage likely to be very high as will require courier. Will add protective sleeves to jackets when ordered. Apparently scarce in UK.
