Preface by author, list of illustrations, list of maps, appendix and index. The text is illustrated with black-and-white, contemporary, photographs, maps and the occasional black-and-white illustration. Light blue coloured cloth covered boards with gilt coloured titles to the back strip. Plaintext dustwrapper with black and white coloured titles the front panel and back strip Part of the Australia in the war of 1939-1945 series – Aviation. The title does say it all. A little is softening of the back strip edges with rubbing of the top book corners and lower book edges age toning of the text block edges and lighter age toning of the pages. Offset tanning and some handling marks the end pages a few marks to the top text edge Chipping of the top dustwrapper corners and to the back strip edges. Creasing and few small tears to the top dustwrapper edge. Rubbing of the dustwrapper panels with the rear panel showing handling marks and some staining Browning and a few foxing spots to the verso Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
