Oxford University Dramatic Society flyer for Byzantium, a play by Francis Warner loosely inserted with a note from Warner to Dadie Rylands on reverse consisting of about 60 words in which he keeps Rylands up to date with the cast of the play and ends 'May you be well, and may all Olympus bless you.' The first volume consists of a play about Periclean Athens, a trilogy of Roman plays, the Byzantium and a play set in Florence during the fifteenth century. The second volume is set in the twentieth century and opens with a comedy of love, George Humphrey Wolferstan Rylands (1902 � 1999), known as Dadie Rylands was a literary scholar, theatre director (particularly Shakespeare) and a Fellow of King's College, Cambridge.
