Cambridge: Cambriidge University Press, 1933. 1st ed. . Blue Cloth. Good (+)/No Jacket. 14 Cms x 22 Cms. xii+392, previous owner's signature front endpaper + thin black smear 5cm long, with very faint continuation for another 4 cms, faint browning to end gutter regions offset from now absent jacket, end gutter paper rippled with some tiny tears, but this hardly serious, otherwise internally clean, tight & unmarked, few faint marks top edge of textblock; covers clean but joints and extremeties all a little rubbed. Despite faults a nice working/reference copy of the 1st edition. Textblock edges also have some brown speckling. Covers clean and unworn but faint hint of fading top spine. Unclipped jacketgenerally clean, spine darkened, edge-nicking & rubbing, patch circa 3 cms x 2 cms x 2 cms missing from bottom spine (will seal in protective wrapper when ordered and repair worst nicks). Despite faults a very acceptable copy of the 2nd impression of the 1st edition of this important work which ranged across philosophy, science, society and much else. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range.
