Published the year before the outbreak of the Second World War, this work functions as a survey of the world and international relations, covering the persecution of Jews and the League of Nations and its functionality.Written by Philip Gibbs (1877-1962), a British writer and journalist who was one of five official British reporters during the First World War.Complete with an unclipped dust wrapper.Signed by Gibbs to the title page.A first edition of this work. In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally generally smart, with just a little general wear. Dust wrapper is chipped to the head and tail of the spine, which is a little sunned, and with general wear to the boards and extremities. Internally, generally firmly bound, with a little straining of the front hinge at the title page. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright with just the odd instance of spotting. Very Good Indeed
