Toronto: Privately Printed, 1949. Limited ed. Spiral_bound. Very Good. One of 500 numbered copies only, this being No. 328. Oblong quarto sized volume, spiral bound in black card wrappers lettered in gilt. ix+176 pp. plus section of 39 black and white photographic plates at rear. Appendices include "the Principal Dimensions and Scantlings" from the 1789 "Shipbuilders Repository", extracts from Sutherland's 1717 "Shipbuilding Unveil'd", Griffith's 1854 "Treatise on Marine and Naval Architecture" . Illustrated with drawings and diagrams. A tight example, internally clean, Plate 25 loose but present. The words "Old Time Ships" are wriiten in black on the fore edge of the text block.
