About This Item
1892 hardcover as pictured. This is a very handsome edition that has seen some wear. Binding is intact. Embossed green cloth boards with beveled edges and gold stamping are lightly soiled and show some edge wear with fraying at head and tail of spine and at corners. Patterned endpapers. Small piece of rear endpaper is missing. Front hinge is lightly cracked. Many pages of text have pencil markings that do not affect readability. Includes 32 tissue guarded illustrations, many of prominent personages from the war of rebellion. No dust jacket. Your purchase helps support our small village library. s (OM3)
