Mellbrae CA: Celestial Arts Publishing, 1980. 1st Ptg. . Hardcover. Fine/Good. (1st ptg.) Slightly smaller book, dark blue boards, bright gilt title and author on front, bright on spine too, light blue inside covers and adjacent end papers, line of glue down centers of inside front and back covers, but flaps not stuck at all, empty bookplate on reverse of final end paper, 217 browned but supple pages. DJ glossy white portion is lightly browned, colorful illustrations at top front--a montage of humans in test tubes, a scientist and a foetus. DJ has very slight rubbing along top half of front bookfold edge, 1" tear with very slight wear at spine top right edge onto front, micronick and tiny nick at spine top edge, tiny tear at top back edge next to tips. Good DJ/Fine book.
