London: The Egypt Exploration Fund., 1894. HEAVY. 2 volumes-complete-with a total of 57 pages of plates (10 double-page, 6 folding, 5 in colour), and a loosely inserted reference sheet (the Egyptian Alphabet). No date but 1894 and 1895. Some of the plates are by Howard Carter; the plans and measurements of the tombs are by G. Willoughby Fraser. Quarter cloth and printed papered boards; boards of Part I a little tanned at edges; covers of Part II soiled and a little worn (but internally in excellent condition); small name-stamp or bookplate of prev owner on the front endpapers; overall a decent set. A 'special publication' of the Egypt Exploration Fund.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good. Illus. by Carter, Howard et al. Folio.
