Hardcover. Condition: NF. First Edition. First State.. BAL 3436. Frontispiece by Dan Beard. 260 pp. with 9 pages of ads. Original tan publisher's cloth with pictorial decoration on the front board in gilt, brown, and black, and gilt title on spine. A group of short stories from Twain. Tightly bound, solid, and square. Cloth has very little soiling. Clean interior including end papers. Little to no wear to edges. Slight wear to tips. Spine slightly darkened and rubbed at foot and crown with a little loss to surface layer of the cloth.
